spot and a R1 000 cash in hand for the
December competition, for her
photo of a cow charging one of the
workers, Manuel, in an attempt to
protect her calf.
Congratulations to Karen van Zyl from Orania whose photo “Koringstrooptyd in die Noord-Kaap” won her a cash prize of R1 000. This photo shows how neighbours
help each other when the pressure is on to get the wheat harvested and still cultivate the land. The photo was taken on the farm Nooitgedacht in the Petrusville
district.
