As a global brewer, the South African Breweries (SAB) requires a sustainable supply of crops to brew our beers.

We are committed to sourcing local ingredients and supporting farmers in the process. To demonstrate our

commitment, SAB is investing R610 million to strengthen the South African agricultural landscape.

SAB is also increasing investment in research and development – in both the development of new crop

varieties and in cutting-edge data and technology platforms to help our growers proactively address risks and

increase their agricultural productivity.

This is in line with our 2025 sustainability goal, which is to ensure 100% of our direct farmers are skilled,
