360 SOILSCAN provides you with accurate soil nitrate readings
based on parts per million. It works in five easy steps to provide
you field-side results in about five minutes.

Step 1
Take a soil sample from your field.

Step 2
Using the scoop provided, place two scoops of soil into a standard
plastic cup and place in the mixing station.

Step 3
Mix soil and water into a slurry to allow detection of soil nutrient
properties.

Step 4
Analyze the soil with 360 SOILSCAN and determine the amount
of nitrate ions present.

Step 5
Integrate results with 360 COMMANDER for date driven recom-
mendations for your nutrient management plan.

Producers should not hard face their shears. Shears need
to wear; if they aren’t wearing, they’re not doing their job. By
preventing the wear of the shear, you are ultimately affecting
something else – be it the structure of the machine, the fuel
consumption, tire maintenance or even the structure of the soil.
Therefore, by solving one problem, you are actually creating ten
other problems.
Use the correct shear bolt and always make sure the shear bolts
are tightened – this will affect the working of the entire machine.
Lastly, but also very important, is the correct setting of the depth
