M

anvert Silikon is a biostimulant

based on silicon and authorised

in organic farming. It activates

complex physiological process

es in plants that improve their resistance

to stress.

With Nanovert Tech® technology nano

particles are obtained – achieving a higher

concentration of silicon in the solution,

greater coverage of the leaves and penetra

tion in them, improving the effectiveness of

the product.

Action mode

The foliar application of silicon nanoparti

cles covers the whole plant in its entirety,

effectively penetrating the inside of the

plant and positioning itself inside the tis

sues. The presence of silicon in the plant

improves its performance and strength,

having a positive effect on its nutrition and

resistance to stress.

Its penetration through the cuticle trans

ports water to the interior of plant tissues,

giving flexibility and turgor in those tissues

in which it is absorbed.

Manvert Silikon favours the development

of the self-defence plant system against

stress. At the same time it enhances soil

fertility by improving the availability of wa

ter, physical and chemical soil properties

and keeping nutrients in available forms.

It protects plants against pathogen micro

organisms’ attacks, as the silicon accumu

lation in the epidermal tissue in polymeric,

organic and crystalline form allows it to

protect and strengthen the plant tissues

mechanically and biochemically.

This silicon enhances the development of

the plant root system and consequently

improves its adaptability to the environ

ment, protecting it against stress periods

and enhancing its development and growth.

It promotes root colonisation by algae,

lichens, bacteria and mycorrhizal, improv

ing nitrogen and phosphorous fixation and

assimilation. It also increases plant-salinity

resistance and plant-draught resistance.

Fertilisation with silicon can optimise the

water irrigation between 30% to 40% and

increases irrigation periods without any

negative effect on the crop. In addition to

the irrigation-drainage system, fertilisation

with silicon-active minerals also helps to

restore the soils affected by salts, compac

tion and a low pH.
