Zimbabwe: Flood of farm invasions as SADC tribunal disbanded
08 Jul 2011 More than 100 of the nearly 230 remaining white Zimbabwean commercial farmers are under threat of land seizures by ZANU-PF militants, following the disbanding of the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) Tribunal, which had ruled against the seizure of land without compensation. That’s according to Commercial Farmers Union (CFU) president Deon Theron.
