22 Feb 2012This is according to Massey Ferguson SA national sales manager Dennis van der Merwe, in his reaction to the SA Agricultural Machinery Association’s (SAAMA) January 2012 tractor sales of 720 units – the highest for this month since 1982.
The SA agricultural machinery marketing industry is confident that the strong tractor and combine harvester sales over the past year or so are likely to continue in 2012. January 2012 tractor sales were 84,6% up on January 2011’s 428 units. January 2012’s combine harvester sales of 13 units were 30% up on January 2011’s 10 units.
