International farmer’s organisation likely to be launched in South Africa
13 May 2011 A new international farmer’s organisation will be launched in September, possibly in South Africa, to replace the defunct International Federation of Agricultural Producers (IFAP).
At this stage, South Africa is the only venue option for the conference, but a lot of political and financial support is needed before it can take place here, said Agri SA executive director Hans van der Merwe.
