Grain SA & Agbiz make a contribution to the research community through its participation in the 2014 AEASA Conference

The Annual Agricultural Economics Association of South Africa (AEASA) took place in Mpekweni Resort in the Eastern Cape from the 28th September to the 1st October 2014. Agbiz, in collaboration with GrainSA, contributed an article that was among the best three selected articles, and were awarded the prize for the 2nd best paper delivered at the conference. The title of the paper: "South Africa's maize exports: A strategic export market analysis approach" was well received by the delegates at the congress, and it is the preliminary analysis of the ongoing work of developing the industry's grain export strategy.
