19 Oct 2011The letter from Colleen Werth (So wrong Mr Schickler, September 30) made some unsubstantiated claims of the failures and health risks of genetically modified seed and food. I refer to some of them with factual responses.
— There is sufficient scientific evidence that modern (genetically modified) seed kills livestock (India) and damages the human body (US).
There is no such scientific substantiated evidence documented anywhere in the world. (OECD 2000, GM Science Review Report 2003, French Academy of Sciences 2002, Royal Society of London 2004.)
