End of fuel strike may be in sight

The end of the chemical sector strikes, including that in the fuel sector, is in sight, an employer group has said. Mxolisi Ratsibe, who chairs the National Petroleum Employers’ Association (NPEA), reckoned the worst was over after the sector’s largest union, Ceppwawu, on Wednesday requested meetings with all five sector councils in the chemical sectors’ bargaining council.
