Bugs becoming resistant to GM crops

In the United States, corn that's been engineered to kill insects is now being decimated by the very same insects. They've become resistant to the toxin the crops are engineered to produce. Resistance is growing around the world to other types of GM crops. But experts argue we can't afford to turn our back on GM technology. They remain hopeful GM companies can produce new GM strains to counter resistance to existing crops.
