13 Mar 2008FOUR bio-fuel refineries are planned for the Eastern Cape, with the sod being turned on the first at Cradock as early as October this year, Agriculture MEC Gugile Nkwinti told the Bhisho legislature yesterday.
That could finally bring to fruition a project that has existed in various forms for more than a decade, the initial planning being to grow sugar beet as a crop, an initiative driven by the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC).
