he tightest turning radiuson themarket,Husqvarna’snewset
of tractors with integrated collection, will definitely not go
unnoticed. “The premiere of our unique U-Cut™-technology
will truly set a new standard,” says Mr Bronson Gunter,
generalmanager: Product Support at HusqvarnaSA.
A few years ago, Husqvarna introduced a new type of chassis
for integrated collection tractors with an improved cutting deck
that puts their ergonomics, manoeuvrability, comfort and driver
experience at the top of the class. Now, an updated version of that
popular construction is also introduced in tractors carrying the
widest cuttingdeck–107cm.Makinghomeowners’ big lawnhassles
feel like a fractionof the challenge that it used tobe.
“The main attraction of the newmodels will certainly be the U-cut
steering solution which gives an extra tight turning radius, making
precision manoeuvres easier than ever and follow-up trimming
virtually obsolete. While the best competing models in the same
price range leave anuncut circlewith a diameter of about 160 cmor
more, Husqvarna now goes down to 100 or less, depending on the
model of choice,” saysGunter.
Also integrated in the new chassis is a pedal-operated hydrostatic
transmission and the possibility to switch to BioClip™-cuttingwhile
still in the driver’s seat. The BioClip™-cutting creates fine-chopping
technology, leaving the grass as a potent fertiliser directly on the
lawn and looking at it from a comfort angle – careful control place-
ment, smooth ergonomic steering levers and full adjustability of the
seat, allows themachine tobe individually tailored.
