hell has formed a partnership with
AgriBonus to offer a first of its kind
benefit programme exclusively
intended for producers. With Agri-
Bonus, members can earn points entitling
them to exciting gifts, such as; free flights
to exotic destinations, bakkies, scramblers
and computers.Members earn thesepoints
through purchases made from a variety of
service partners that are all market leaders
in their respective fields.
“AgriBonus is one of the country’s oldest
loyalty programmes that offer its partners
and customers a multi-spectrum of shops
to select from,” saidMr LutzNel,AgriBonus’
managingdirector.
As part of the agreement, Shell will be pro-
viding fuel and lubricantsaspart of theAgri-
Bonusprogramme, thusenablingproducers
to earn points by filling and servicing their
hard-working equipment with top-of-the-
line products. Shell is the first and only
company to undertake such a venture. The
fuels and lubricants part of the programme

shopping.
Our commercial fuels and lubricants division sells die-
sel, lubricants, illuminating paraffin, bitumen and heavy
furnace fuels directly to end-users in the transport, con-
struction, manufacturing, mining, marine, agricultural
andgeneral consumermarkets.
In the manufacturing area, the Sapref refinery, jointly
owned by Shell and BP, is one of the largest refineries
inAfrica.
Inupstreamexploration,ShellSouthAfricaUpstreamB.V.
holds an exploration right in the Orange Basin Deep
Water area, off the country’s west coast and has appli-
cations for shale gas exploration rights in the Karoo, in
central SouthAfrica.
Other Shell interests in South Africa include aviation,
chemicals and liquidpetroleumgas (LPG).

This programme is designed to benefit the
Shell branded distributors by giving them
exposure topromote theirma-
terial, giving them access to a
new customer base, assisting
them to retain customers and
also by giving them access to
manage their data. Further-
more, the partnership with
AgriBonus will provide Shell
brandeddistributorswithmul-
tiple points of contact through
which tocommunicateanden-
hancebrand loyalty.
The programme will be struc-
tured in such a way that when
customers purchase Diesel
Extra from participating Shell distributors,
they immediately receive double points.
These points canbe redeemed for a variety
of awards or donated to charity.
For customers’ convenience, Shell’s inde-
pendent fuel distributors are located all over
the country to ensure efficient service deliv-
ery to farming and agricultural customers.
The farming community can effortlessly lo-
cate their local Shell independent fuel distri-
butor through theAgriBonusprogramme.
